Don't drive in the rain or heavy winds because rocks are constantly spilling into the roadways and popping tires. Don't drive at night if you can avoid it, there is less traffic, but having someone use their brights in the on coming lane is scary on this already treaturous curvy mountain road. If a car wants to pass real bad, just pull over, try not to take it personally, people having different paces for wanting to get down the Hwy. If you get stuck nehiind a slow car that wont pull over for nothing, I suggest stopping at a nice pullout and relaxing for 5 minutes or so and then continue driving.
